Ducati has unveiled the new Monster Senna, a special edition motorcycle that serves as a tribute to the legendary F1 driver, Ayrton Senna. The bike, priced at $25,000, features a striking livery inspired by Senna's iconic helmet design, showcasing the colors of the Brazilian flag - yellow, green, and blue. With only 341 units produced, symbolizing Senna's 3 World Titles and 41 first-place finishes, the limited-edition Monster Senna comes with several enhancements. These include carbon fiber silencers, billet aluminum footrests, forged aluminum wheels, a blue seat, and a custom startup animation on the display. Additionally, the motorcycle boasts a lithium-ion battery, carbon fiber mudguards, and is lighter by 10 lbs compared to the standard model due to these upgrades.

Powering the Monster Senna is a Testastretta two-cylinder engine delivering 110 hp, paired with a fully adjustable hlins suspension and a Brembo braking system featuring yellow calipers. Buyers will also receive a certificate of authenticity and a motorcycle cover with their purchase.

This special edition release further solidifies the longstanding relationship between Ducati and Senna, with previous collaborations like the Ducati 916 Senna. The motorcycle brand and the racing legend have a history that dates back to 1990 when Senna was gifted an 851 SP by Ducati's then-owner, Claudio Castiglioni. Senna was also an early owner of the Monster 900 and famously arrived at the 1993 Monaco Grand Prix gala on the motorcycle.
