Download the app.Strava is about to unveil a range of new features to enhance the experience for its users. The popular fitness tracking app has been continuously updating its offerings, including a route builder, messaging feature, and 'Best Efforts' function in recent months. This upcoming update marks a significant step forward in product development for Strava, with a strong emphasis on incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into the platform.

One of the key highlights of the update is the introduction of a Strava Family Plan subscription option, designed to cater to the needs of families. Additionally, the platform will be rolling out Athlete Intelligence, a Dark Mode, and more features tailored to improve the overall user experience. Although not all features will be immediately available, they are expected to be gradually released throughout the year.

Strava is also launching new features specifically aimed at empowering women in sports and fitness. Night Heatmaps is one such feature that displays activities between sunset and sunrise, offering insights into popular night-time routes. Quick Edit provides users with enhanced control over their shared information on Strava, including the ability to manage map visibility and workout stats.

Another exciting development is the integration of AI into the platform with Leadership Integrity. This AI-powered feature automatically detects and flags suspicious activities recorded on Strava, ensuring data accuracy and maintaining the integrity of leaderboards. Generative Routes, a new addition to the route builder, utilizes real routes uploaded to Strava to recommend personalized cycling routes based on distance, elevation, and surface preferences.

In addition to these advancements, Strava is introducing a Strava Family Plan subscription that can be shared among multiple users, offering a more collaborative fitness tracking experience. Clubs on Strava will also receive enhanced communication features, allowing users to send messages, create channels, and participate in club challenges.

Dark Mode is another upcoming feature set to launch later this summer, giving users the option to customize the app's color scheme. Users can choose between dark, light, or device-matched settings for their preferred viewing experience. Weekly Heatmaps will track user traffic over the past seven days to provide insights into changing route conditions and popular paths. These innovative updates are poised to revolutionize the fitness tracking experience for Strava users worldwide.
