The platform will also offer 'Generative Routes', a route recommendation engine driven by AI technology.
To better serve women users, Strava is launching 'Night Heatmaps' to display activities between dusk and dawn, helping users identify popular paths and trails during dark hours. Another new feature, 'Quick Edit', will allow users to make rapid changes to activity details like name and privacy settings.
In a bid to support women in sports, Strava has partnered with TOGETHXR and the Alex Morgan Foundation, pledging $100,000 to aid women and girls both in and out of sports.
