Just two weeks on from the 30th Anniversary of the legendary Ayrton Senna's passing, the Formula One championship gathered at Imola for the seventh round of the 2024 season at the iconic circuit, where the three-time World Champion tragically met his fate. To commemorate this somber occasion, Ducati revealed the striking Monster Senna, a tribute to the Brazilian racing icon. Drawing inspiration from Senna's iconic helmet and the colors of Brazil, the Monster Senna is based on the Monster SP model. Ayrton Senna had a deep connection with Ducati, receiving his first 851 SP in 1990 and later becoming one of the first owners of the original Ducati Monster 900. The collaboration between Senna and Ducati culminated in the legendary 916 Senna, released as a production model in 1994. In 2014, the partnership continued with the 1199 Panigale, dedicated to Senna with a limited series of 161 units. The latest Monster Senna edition is limited to 341, representing Senna's three Formula One World Championships and 41 Grand Prix victories.

Ducati's CEO, Claudio Domenicali, expressed the brand's admiration for Senna and the significance of honoring his legacy through the Monster Senna edition. The bike embodies the values of style, boldness, and fun that Senna epitomized as a Ducati enthusiast. With limited availability, prospective buyers are urged to act swiftly to secure their Monster Senna tribute.
