Space Exploration Technologies Corp., also known as SpaceX, has recently conducted two successful rocket launches from different locations in the United States. The first launch took place at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, while the second launch occurred at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The missions, named Starlink 10-2, aimed to deploy multiple Starlink satellites into orbit as part of SpaceX's ambitious satellite internet project.

At Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off carrying 22 Starlink satellites for the Starlink 10-2 mission. The launch took place on June 23, 2024, at 1:15 p.m. EDT from Launch Complex 40. Spectators at packed beaches in Cocoa Beach and Suntree Rotary park on the Indian River Lagoon witnessed the rocket launch, despite cloud cover obscuring some views.

Meanwhile, in Southern California, a SpaceX rocket illuminated the night skies as it launched more Starlink satellites into orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base. The Falcon 9 rocket sent 20 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit, including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities. The Starlink system aims to provide global internet access, particularly in remote areas lacking reliable service.

After the satellite deployments, the reusable booster of the Falcon 9 rocket will return to Earth and land on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean. These successful missions mark another milestone for SpaceX's efforts to expand its satellite constellation and provide internet connectivity to underserved regions worldwide.
