Fortnite is launching a new mode today, June 22, called Fortnite Reload that features a new map, a ton of classic weapons and locations, endless revives as long as one player on a team remains alive, and no vehicles. This new mode will provide players with a 40-player "Fill or No Fill Squads" experience on a tighter map with familiar POIs such as Tilted Towers, Retail Row, and more. Players will enjoy faster action compared to other modes, with reboot timers starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40 seconds later in a match. Teammates can decrease the time until their friends return by downing opponents, eliminating players, and wiping out whole squads.
The introduction of this new mode will bring back a handful of unvaulted loot, including classic weapons like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and more. Players can still earn Victory Crowns and receive rewards such as the Digital Dogfight Contrail, Pool Cubes Wrap, and NaNa Bath Back Bling. Winning a Victory Royale will also gift players The Rezzbrella Glider, adding more incentives to the gameplay experience.
Fortnite Reload aims to provide players with a more classic Fortnite experience without vehicles, available for both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. The addition of this mode comes alongside an upcoming concert event called Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury., as well as the arrival of Lego Island star Pepper Roni in LEGO Tycoon: Tilted Towers. With these new updates and events, Fortnite fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming days.
Epic Games recently announced the June 22 summer update, introducing a new game mode called Reload that will take players back to iconic locations like Tilted Towers and Pleasant Park. The OG map will be revisited in this new game mode, allowing players to respawn as long as one squad member remains alive. This new mode has drawn comparisons to Call of Duty: Warzone's Resurgence game mode, offering an exciting twist to the traditional battle royale gameplay.
The highly anticipated Fortnite Reload mode is set to release on June 22, bringing back nostalgic locations and gameplay elements from the original Fortnite map. Players can expect an engaging experience with classic weapons, familiar POIs, and the ability to earn exciting rewards through Victory Crowns and completion of intro Quests. With the return of Tilted Towers and other iconic locations, Fortnite fans can enjoy a trip down memory lane while embracing new challenges and adventures in the Reload mode.
