A Munich-based battery manufacturer, bebob, has recently introduced two new B-Mount batteries, the B90cineML and the B155cineML, expanding their B-Mount portfolio. These batteries, with capacities of 86Wh and 156Wh respectively, offer key functionalities that aim to enhance camera operations. The unique feature of these batteries is their ability to connect in series with other B-Mount batteries, serving as dual-voltage high-performance batteries and hot-swap adapters. This design ensures a continuous and uninterrupted power supply by automatically taking over the power supply to the camera and D-Tap connection when the connected battery is depleted.
The B90cineML and B155cineML batteries from bebob support two different voltages, 14.4V and 28.8V, making them compatible with 12V and 24V devices. With a continuous power output of 450W and a current output of 20A, these batteries are equipped with a Twist D-Tap and a USB-C port. They also feature a five-stage LED display that indicates the current charging status. These batteries are built with a high-quality, robust design and are maintainable, allowing users to replace the cells if the performance declines after years of use.
Last year, bebob introduced the B480CINE with a massive 475Wh capacity. To address travel restrictions on airplanes for batteries over 160Wh, bebob developed the B90cineML and B155cineML models with capacities of 86Wh and 156Wh, respectively. These hot-swappable batteries provide a solution for users who need to travel with batteries within the allowed capacity range. The B-Mount battery standard, co-developed by bebob and ARRI, supports both 14.4V and 28.8V voltages, catering to a wide range of devices.
The B90cineML is priced at 769/$849, while the B155cineML costs 879/$969. Both models come with a two-year guarantee on 80% of their capacity and are available immediately from authorized bebob dealers.
