Transportation has become more accessible for travelers departing from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport with the introduction of new nonstop flights by Frontier Airlines.

Frontier Airlines recently launched nonstop flights to Philadelphia and Raleigh-Durham, providing passengers with seamless connections to various destinations within the airline's network. The carrier's Discount Den program members can take advantage of special introductory fares starting at $19 for these new routes. Tickets must be purchased before June 1, and the discounted fares are available on select days of the week.

Operating three days a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the nonstop flights will be serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft. Frontier Airlines now offers nonstop flights to five destinations from Milwaukee Mitchell, including Denver, Fort Myers, and Las Vegas.

Josh Flyr, Frontier's vice president of network and operations design, expressed excitement about expanding the options for affordable air travel in the Milwaukee metro area. The recent flight additions come as part of the carrier's growth strategy, catering to the increasing demand for convenient travel options.

With airlines gradually restoring and enhancing flight services at Milwaukee Mitchell, the airport witnessed a significant uptick in air traffic in 2023, marking its busiest year since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
