The calendar has turned to June, marking the beginning of Pride Month across various platforms. In the NFL, about two-thirds of the teams celebrated Pride Month on social media. The messages of support were sent by 21 out of 32 NFL teams to their combined 42 million followers. Some teams even went the extra mile by changing their logos or banners to reflect the colors of the pride flag. Interestingly, not all NFL teams joined in on the Pride Month celebrations. Over the weekend, 11 teams from the NFL chose not to acknowledge or tweet about Pride Month. These teams included the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and more. The silence from these teams sparked conversation and highlighted the differing approaches to the subject within the league.
