Tamil Nadu Surfers Dominate Indian Open of Surfing 5.0

Tamil Nadu surfers showcased their talent at the fifth Indian Open of Surfing (IOS) held at Sasihithlu Beach, emerging victorious in several categories. Ajeesh Ali, the Paris Olympics qualifier, clinched the men's open title. Young talent Kamali Moorthi secured wins in the women's open and Groms Girls and U-16 categories. Another rising star from Tamil Nadu, Tayin Arun, impressed the judges and took home the title in the Groms Boys and U-16 category. The event saw intense competition, with local favorites like Pradeep Pujar and Dhamayanthi Sriram showcasing their skills. The success of Tamil Nadu surfers at the IOS 5.0 reflects the growing prominence of the sport in the region.
