Boeings Starliner is ready for its first crewed launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The mission, Crew Flight Test, will aim to rival SpaceXs Crew Dragon capsule for ferrying astronauts to the space station under NASAs Commercial Crew Program, fostering collaboration with private industry partners. Veteran NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are set to make history on this historic flight, marking the sixth inaugural journey of a crewed spacecraft in US history. In case of bad weather conditions, backup launch dates are available on June 2, June 5, and June 6. Years of development setbacks have delayed Starliners path to the launchpad, but this mission could be the final milestone before regular operations to the space station are approved.
