Xiaomi recently introduced a new addition to its product lineup, the Xiaomi 10G switch. This network switch comes with dual 10G Ethernet ports, offering users high-speed connectivity options. The 10G switch, which had been highly anticipated, is now available for purchase in China. Along with the switch, Xiaomi also unveiled a Gigabit router model, expanding its network product offerings.

Featuring two 10G SFP+ network ports, the Xiaomi 10G switch allows for a maximum transmission speed of 10G, making it ideal for smaller environments like studios or small offices. With a total output capacity of 60Gbps, the switch supports rapid data transfer to devices such as workstations. Additionally, the device includes four 2.5G network ports with support for various speeds ranging from 10 to 2500M, along with 8K streaming capabilities. It is also compatible with a range of 10G devices including optical modems, NAS systems, routers, and high-speed workstations.

When it comes to cooling, the Xiaomi 10G switch opts for a passive cooling design, forgoing an active cooling fan. While this design choice allows for seamless integration into home settings, users should remain vigilant in monitoring the device's heat dissipation to ensure optimal performance.

Priced at 299 yuan ($41), the Xiaomi 10G switch is now available for purchase on JD.com. However, details regarding the pricing and availability of the Xiaomi One Gigabit router have not been disclosed yet.
