Emirates Partners with Wimbledon

Emirates has recently announced its partnership with The Championships, Wimbledon, becoming the Official Airline Partner for the event. This collaboration will see the introduction of a unique Airbus A380 Wimbledon livery and special inflight services to commemorate the tournament, which will take place from 1 to 14 July.

The bespoke A380 livery unveiled by Emirates features the iconic Wimbledon logo and sporting silhouettes. This special aircraft will make its debut flight to London Heathrow on 1 July and will subsequently operate on various routes, including Manchester, Washington D.C., Paris, and more. Passengers on UK-bound flights throughout July will be treated to Wimbledon-themed delights depending on their class of travel.

Exciting Inflight Experience

First and Business Class passengers can indulge in strawberries and cream, pastries, and Wimbledon-logo lemon strawberry cupcakes. Economy and Premium Economy travelers, on the other hand, will be able to savor cream cheese mousse and strawberry cheesecake. In addition to these delectable treats, Emirates will also provide live coverage of Wimbledon matches in its lounges and on its in-flight entertainment system, ice.

At the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Emirates will host interactive experiences at the Emirates Experience stand. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in giveaways and stand a chance to win a holiday to Dubai. For younger fans, there will be the Emirates-branded Wimbleworld on Roblox, offering an engaging experience related to the prestigious tennis tournament.

Enhanced Ground Activities

With 133 weekly flights across seven gateways in the UK, Emirates is a key player in connecting travelers to various destinations. The airline will also resume daily A350 service to Edinburgh starting from 4 November 2024. This move is expected to further strengthen Emirates' presence in the region and offer passengers more options for their travel needs. As the excitement builds for Wimbledon, Emirates' collaboration with the tournament is set to enhance the overall experience for tennis fans and travelers alike.
