Catch Sceptile: The Latest Innovation in Pokémon Raids
-advertisment-

Pokémon fans are in for a treat as a new event has been announced that will give players the chance to catch a super powerful mon for a limited time. The featured Pokémon is Sceptile, the Grass-type starter from Generation 3, specifically from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. This Pokémon will be the next target of seven-star Tera raids, available to catch on specific dates in June and July 2024.

During the event, players will have six days to participate in raids and try to catch Sceptile. It is important to note that each player can only catch Sceptile the Unrivaled once, so make sure to make the most of the opportunity. Sceptile will have the Dragon Tera type, presenting a challenge for players who will need to be prepared for both Grass- and Dragon-type moves.

In battles against Sceptile, players can use Ice and Fairy types to exploit its weakness to Dragon-type moves. Sceptile is known for its high-speed stat, but players can take advantage of the fact that raid Pokémon do not hold items, preventing Sceptile from doubling its speed with the Unburden ability. The Dragon Tera type of this raid is likely a reference to Sceptile's Mega form, which is both Dragon- and Grass-type.

Fans of Pokémon Mega Evolutions will be excited to know that these features will be returning in the upcoming game Pokémon Legends: Z-s this game is based on Generation 6, it is expected that many new Mega Evolutions will be introduced to the series, including possibly Sceptile's Mega form. It is worth noting that Mega Evolutions have not been available since the games Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee.

Players should mark their calendars for the dates in June and July to participate in the Sceptile raids and try to catch this powerful Pokémon. Make sure to stay updated on the latest Pokémon news to not miss out on any limited-time events and opportunities to catch rare and powerful mons.
