Larry Allen, a Pro Football Hall of Fame guard, known for his great athleticism and incredible strength, passed away suddenly at the age of 52 while on vacation in Mexico with his family. Allen, who played most of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, was a Super Bowl Champion and a Cowboys Ring of Honor member. His versatility and dependability were signature parts of his career. The Jones family and the Cowboys extended their deepest condolences to the Allen family. Memorial service arrangements will be announced soon. The Cowboys selected Allen in the 1994 NFL Draft, and he went on to become one of the best interior linemen of all time, playing 176 games with the Cowboys and spending his final years with the San Francisco 49ers. Allen was a Pro Bowler 11 times and a six-time All-Pro selection, contributing to the Cowboys' 1995 Super Bowl victory.
