Renée Zellweger Returns to London Set for Bridget Jones Sequel: New Photos

Rene Zellweger, 55, was all smiles as she filmed scenes for the upcoming movie Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy in London's Camden neighborhood on May 17. The fourth installment in the Bridget Jones series is highly anticipated. Set to release in theaters and on Peacock on Feb. 14, 2025, the film marks the return of Zellweger as the beloved character, along with Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson reprising their roles. Joining the cast is Leo Woodall, seen filming in Hampstead Heath in North London last week. The movie, directed by Michael Morris, will also feature another new cast member, Chiwetel Ejiofor. 'Mad About the Boy' will be Grant's third appearance in the series and Thompson's second, with Thompson also co-writing the third film.
