Kevin Costner has a multitude of cherished memories from the filming of "Field of Dreams," a film that also involved the presence of an up-and-coming Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

Costner recalls the 'Good Will Hunting' stars making an appearance as extras during a specific scene shot at Fenway Park in Boston, their hometown, during an episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'.

Reflecting on that time, Costner expressed that he vividly remembers encountering the pair. He described how they behaved like typical college guys, leaning in and out simultaneously and exchanging similar glances.

He added, 'We talked and they had this big enthusiasm. They were on fire.'

During the show, Kimmel reached out to Damon and inquired about his recollection of that moment. Damon's response highlighted how significant it was for him, mentioning that Costner hung around with the extras between the set-ups and shared a humorous exchange with him.

Released in 1989, 'Field of Dreams' received considerable acclaim, garnering four Oscar nominations and solidifying its status as a beloved classic.

The film was even referenced during this year's Oscars by comedian John Mulaney, emphasizing its enduring impact.

Following 'Field of Dreams,' Costner went on to achieve dual Oscars for 'Dances with Wolves' in 1991, while Affleck and Damon secured their own Oscars for 'Good Will Hunting' in 1998.
