IGEL Technology and Lenovo have come together to introduce new AI - ready endpoint devices that come pre - loaded with IGEL OS . The main objective of this partnership is to support the latest Artificial intelligence ( AI ) use cases while also providing solutions for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI and Azure Virtual Desktop ( AVD ) on Lenovo ThinkAgile MX Systems.

The AI - ready devices from Lenovo that are part of this collaboration include ThinkPad L14 Gen5 ( Intel ) , ThinkPad L13 Gen5 ( Intel ) , and ThinkPad L16 Gen1 ( Intel ) . These devices will have direct access to neural processing units ( NPUs ) through the IGEL OS 12 , aiming to enhance user experiences and remote protocol resilience.
