Taco Fest is set to return to downtown Royal Oak this holiday weekend , promising a fun - filled event for all attendees . Last year , the festival attracted approximately 60,000 visitors , and this year looks to be even bigger and better . The festival will take place around Centennial Commons and will feature a wide range of activities and attractions for everyone to enjoy.

The events will kick off at 11 a.m. and continue until 11 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday , and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday . With over 100 performers scheduled to take the stage , there will be no shortage of entertainment for festival - goers . In addition to the live music , there will also be more than 50 taquerias , taco trucks , and other eateries serving up delicious food for attendees to enjoy.

One of the highlights of the festival is the kids zone , which will offer a variety of free activities for children . From inflatable bounce houses to face painting stations and arts and crafts , there will be plenty to keep the little ones entertained throughout the weekend . Additionally , JARS Cannabis will be making its debut at the festival , showcasing its products and offering a unique experience called Planet JARS : A Black Hole.
