Get ready for an exciting weekend in Westchester filled with festivals, movie nights, and more for the whole family to enjoy. The weekend kicks off with a Movie Night at Ridge Hill on Thursday, June 27th, where families can watch The Lion King under the stars. Make sure to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating.
On Friday, June 28th, families can attend the Firefly Festival at Trailside Nature Museum in Cross River. Tickets are $15 per person, and there will be games, face painting, music, food, and firefly catching in the meadow. International Mud Day will also be celebrated at the Outdoor Discovery Campus in Cornwall, where families can play in the mud and welcome summer. Undiscovered Realm Comic Con will take place at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, offering a variety of family-friendly activities. The Katonah Museum of Art will be celebrating Pride with free admission and a special art project. Lastly, Bicycle Sunday on June 30th allows non-motorized traffic on a stretch of the Bronx River Parkway for a scenic ride.
