ADHD diagnoses are on the rise in the U.S., with 1 in 9 kids diagnosed, according to a recent study. The spike in diagnoses can be attributed to heightened stress, depression, and anxiety experienced by children during the pandemic, leading to a better understanding of the different ways ADHD can manifest. Girls are now being diagnosed more frequently than boys, with the study noting a narrowing difference in diagnosis rates between genders.
